She Chocolat; nestled in the stunning surrounds of Governors Bay is known globally for fantastic food, stunning views and features the most sensuous chocolates made in New Zealand... Creativity and inspiration is a major part of this chocolate journey.

The half day tour is a must for all food and chocolate lovers. It is gourmet, decadent and authentic. Truly one of the worlds finest experiences in chocolate and culinary sophistication. It captures not only the love of chocolate but of passion and the ancientness of this land; a foodies dream come true!

Oonagh pours chocolate from a massive tempering machine into a metal bowl, then tips it on to a large metal table. She demonstrates how to manually temper the chocolate, testing its temperature by dabbing a little under your lip. I take a sneaky look around the kitchen and feel like I'm in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.

A rare visit and demonstration in the inner sanctum of She Chocolat’s chocolate kitchen where our talented Chocolate Alchemists will share their love and passion for chocolate crafting.

The opportunity to ask any of your chocolate inspired questions of our Chocolate Alchemists – for example 'why does my chocolate ganache always split?'

Entering 'heaven' as you enjoy a gourmet lunch featuring local ingredients interwoven with Chocolate.

Kids Chocolate Journey

A chance for the whole family to enjoy a chocolate adventure with a difference on board She Chocolat’s Double-Decker Bus. Experience a piece of history whilst enjoying lots of treats, games and fun. Our Chocolate guides will lead you through an inspiring chocolate journey and you can watch some great videos onboard. A delicious & fun journey for all the family.
