About Oonagh

Oonagh’s passion is contagious, not just for chocolate but for life. As an artist she is a gifted Chocolatier, creating what are truly unique and divine chocolate creations. Her expertise is wizardry. In fact she is not a Chocolatier but a chocolate alchemist. She crafts weaves and creates with this sacred ingredient called chocolate.

Chocolate crafting started for Oonagh as a hobby at home in her kitchen. As a result she has a rare gift of passing on her knowledge without using technical equipment. Everything learnt from Oonagh can be done by everyone at home in their own kitchen.

Prior to the realm of chocolate, Oonagh was a corporate trainer and so she brings these two worlds together in her ability to teach and share her knowledge and passion for chocolate in a practical way.

When you meet her you can’t help but think Vianne Rocher, the enchanting Chocolatier in the movie Chocolat, who is brought to life by Oonagh’s irrepressible passion and enthusiasm for all things chocolate…’ Oonagh likens her journey into chocolate making to ‘an artist finding heir medium’.

I was once an IT consultant (living in London) and I now craft chocolate in the beauty of Governors Bay! How can we know what is truly for us unless we are daring enough to try something new!

My love of chocolate is yours to explore, my journey into the discovery of the inner artist, yours to know and my passion for living a life on the edge and of untainted sweetness yours to discover. Life is for living and for loving chocolate, lets jump in together.

I love sharing the gift that chocolate has brought me. I love sharing a life of passion and creativity through the medium of chocolate. It will be an honour to share this incredible chocolate journey with you at our chocolate school.
