Chocolate Stories
A while ago my husband Ian and I stopped in at She (a favourite) for lunch and for the first time tried your amazing chocolate. It is fair to say I am now completely addicted - especially to the chilli and the date experiences! We were enchanted and entertained watching the most gorgeous little dark haired small person sitting in one of the comfy chairs in a very grown up fashion turning the pages of a magazine but all the while watching us - watching her. After chatting briefly with you we realised this was indeed your little girl - a scene reminiscent of "Chocolat". I am full of admiration for all you have achieved and She Restaurant is a firm must visit for all our overseas visitors!

A friend gifted me a box of your decadent dates. I hid them behind some baked beans in the pantry, and they were my moments of saviour when life became a little too much. I knew I had one left and was hanging out for it as I drove home from a challenging day at work ‘everything would be ok once I had that Decadent Date’.
I got home and headed straight for the pantry and to my horror there was no baked beans tin and even worse no exposed decadent date. I turned to my son – ‘what did you have for lunch I asked him shakingly’. ‘Oh yeah we had baked beans on toast and guess what we found - one of those chocolate things that you must have forgotten about and it was amazing because it hadn’t gone off. You should get some more because they are really good even though it was dark chocolate’ What could I do but laugh so thank you decadent dates for working your magic even if it wasn’t on my lips!! |
